The 8th question on organic chemistry to be specific. Part ciii.) The test for two different types of fats. After some contemplation(and mark scheme checking :p) I figured out that Fat 1 must be unsaturated, due to it's ability to turn bromine water colourless. Is my hypothesis true? I also saw that there are 2 less hydrogen atoms in Fat 1(C17H33 as opposed to C17H35). Does that mean that there may be a double bond between any of the C-C bonds in fat 1? Thus it is unsaturated? I just wanted some clarification, because it is not covered in my book, which is quite worriedly so endorsed by CIE.
Your input is very much appreciated!

fat 1 is unsaturated cuz it has less hydrogen thn fat 2 so therefore it can decolourize the bromine water!
so wat u said was right!! :)
