What was the equation of Mg with Flourine? And what was the charge?

that was
Mg+ 2F ---> MgF2

Sorry to say this but that is wrong !
Remember that all group 7 elements exist in diatomic forms (ex: Cl2,Br2)
so it should be:
Mg + F2 ----->MgF2

Where did we have to right the equation :O I forgot :|
However shudnt the equation be like this
Mg + 2F ----> MgF2...
loll there is sum difference

There you go you are not a Bio student We learnt that sunlight and chlorophyll (and temp) are the conditions needed for Photosynthesis to occur
CO2 and H2O are just reactants and not conditions

we were give a volume of hydrogen = 60cm3
moles of hyd. = 60/24000 = 0.0025
ratio= 1:2
so moles of Mg were 0.005
mass= 0.005 * 24(mass number of Mg)
=0.12
Pls tell me what iv done diff. frm you bcause i still dnt remeber my answer in the paper or the volume of hydroen very clearly....

Beta mole ratio was 1:1 you hav wrongly balanced da eequation....!!! :wink:
