Aoa everyone
this is my 1st post .
i have some problems in p5 of chemistry.

Q1. how do we know which values come on x-axis and y-axis of the graph?
wot i figured was that
(e.g) 9701/05/O/N/08
2a) use the additional column of the table to record the charge passes and the mass of copper deposited on the cathode

is may chrged passed(X-axis) mass of cu deposited (y-axis).. same is with the rest of the Qz
am i correct?

Q2. 9701/05/M/J 09
Q1c part 2 we are given with
5mol dm-3 h2so4
distill water
solid cerium (iv) sulphate
(i) H2So4 ke the number and conc of the solutions to be prepared.
wot i wrote was
* 1 mol dm-3 H2So4
20g acid
80g water

* 2mol dm-3 h2so4
40g acid
60g water

*3mol dm-3 h2so4
60g acid
40g water

*4 mol dm-3 h2so4
80g acid
20g water

*5mol dm-3 h2so4
100g acid
0 g water

is this correct?
marking scheme may cm3 may ha. how to get it?

Q3 independent and dependent variable kya hotay hain? and kasay pta chalta ha konsa independent ha and kon sa dependent?

Q#3 independent variable is the factor that can be varied during the experiment and dependent variable is the factor that is effected by it.For example:
in an enthalpy change reaction,the main thing we are looking for is the temperature and how its effected by whatever changes we make in the experiment.so in case of the enthalpy change, temperature change is the dependent variable and changes we are supposed to make as said in the question is the independent variable.In case of graphs independent variable is placed on the x axis and dependent varaible is placed on the y axis..so for your Q#1 between mass deposited and charges,chrges is something that is being varied and the deposits of copper is effected by that.therefore charges come on the x axis and mass of copper/g come on the y axis.
