for the last question, i put A because i thought for both SN1 and SN2 mechanism, it was a two steps mechanism.. hence, there are two humps...
but i dunno if its good...
for convertor and pi, same answers!!
but for wht reasons ur answer was D???

go down till u find the reaction pathways
there are three the first one is SN1 using OH (like in the exam)
the third one is SN2

hey zishi why the answer for question 37 is D. Shouldn't it be A?? Because the organic compound has functional groups of both an alkene and a carbonyl group(aldehyde).. Hence, it will also react with fehling's reagent and dichromate to become a COOH!
What are your views on this?

LOL! That isn't my answer - it is an original paper given by a student of my school. I forgot to erase that answer.
