guys can anyone plzzz XPLAIN IR spectroscopy to me?i don't get what fragments give peaks.and what are the most common fragments which give peaks?

in the DR lawrence notes it says that IF4- has an octahedral shape due to 6 bonding pairs.but shouldn't it have a SQUARE PLANAR shape since the iodine is bonded to 4 fluorine atoms and there are 2 lone pairs on the iodine atom?

SOO VERY TRUE.i just read them and they're just soo good.very very regretful of not getting them for my unit 1 xam.only if i had it back then.but still,hoping for an A in my unit 1 xam

hmmm.... but guys srsly! BELIEVE IT! Chemfact sheets are the best! From explanation to practise questions! OMG! Practise questions in chemfact sheets are really super super awesome! I think fact sheets are the best source for practise! Its just an advise! from a TRUE FRIEND!
