Well I forgot to balance the second reaction. But I got the whole calculation steps correct. I hope they will allow an error continued forward and will only deduct 2 marks for the second equation. - Plus damn I just thought they said conditions and I stated UV light instead of BR2. I really hope the A Grade threshold would be 48/ 60. Anyway, the exam is over now. Let's focus on Papers 1 and 3 and do our best. After all the hard work, Everything is down to God know. Let's pray and hope for the flying colors. Good Luck All. May we all pass with straight A's and A*s Insha'Allah.

i dont wanna know if what i will say is discussing a paper or not. if it is please tell me and i will delete my post because i am not willing to discuss but i just have a general question.

if we use hot acidified MnO4 on a double bond which had RCH=CRH it will oxidise to carboxylic acids? if i only oxidized it to aldehyde do i lose marks for that or both are accepted ?

Well, an aldehyde is correct but if it says hot and reflux, then it is carboxylic acid, it will be aldehyde only if you distill then off.
