Here's what I'm learning, so as I learn, I'll keep posting

Flame tests;
Ca2+ Brick red
Ba2+ Apple green
Cu2+ Blue-green
K+ Lilac
Na+ Golden Yellow

Tests for gases

NH3 turns damp litmus paper blue
CO2 turns lime water milky
Cl2 bleaches damp litmus paper
H2 pops with a lighted splint
O2 relights a glowing splint
SO2 turns K2Cr2O7 (aq) from orange to green (oxidation)

Can somebody keep posting for organic? =/
