Sigma bond-The bond formed by the head to head overlap of atomic orbitals
Pi bond-the bond formed by the parallel overlap of atomic orbitals. Pi bond is weak and easily available for outer attack. Therefore Alkenes are more reactive

Simple Distillation Guides:
1 - Ensure that all joins are tight and the water lines are secured!
2 - Fill the distillation flask between one-third and one-half full.
3 - Allow the distillation to proceed at 10 drops/minute.
4 - Use different receiving flasks for the beginning, middle and the end.
5 - Never let the distillation flasks dry.
