the war between the US and Russian
after WWII they were the most powerful countries in the world and well they became enemies. but instead of fighting with guns and bullets they fought with games and Competition like the Olympics the who who landed on the moon first and who went around the world first

In this era, nations compete on economy rather involving themselves into physical combat. The war has earned tremendous hatred by its victims; even a victor is also a victim. The consensus shows that people want to resolve matters through talks and negotiations. They support the ideology that everyone should look for their betterment, without endangering the batterment of others. 
There are more than one super power in todays world. Starting a war is not as easy as inadvaetently pressing the nuke button like dee dee does. Even if a war starts, a lttle disruption of economic process is enough is stop it.
