I marked +44 because It talked about Mauritius and after company name it was written GB in brackets, I assumed it as Great Britain :p ( I had a lot of time so was inspecting each and every question :p) So You would use a country code for a call between two countries.

for trade help industry; i guess answer was"IT HELPS TO FIND MARKET"

for the lowest operational costs of transportation: i ticked "road" becuase it was talking about operations. and pipelines, air and sea are very difficult to operate and maintain and they all have natural barriers to entry.

for the "fax page" : i selected the telephone number; the lady wanted to talk IMMEDIATELY.

for teleconferencing: it would "reduce the costs accomodation and transportation". I intially got confused between the option B and D- option B said that reps would be able to listen and see. but then i realised i was mixing up tele and video.

for the most-talked-about method of appel question: it was certainly "EMOTION" the viewer was being made to FEEL the center of attraction.

did the question regarding external cost appeared today?
question: a government wants to make an airport at the natural beauty area. what is the external cost.
a. the beauty which is lost.
b. the incomes of the local businesses.
c. the cost of running the airport.
d. something like c

I selected option B; a is the oppurtunity cost. and i felt keh C and D are absolutely wrong.
And guesses?

And Shahnam for the airport it certainly was A ..actually in natural beauty area there wont be deforestration. Hence i dont
think it was a source of income. What they are forgoing is the natural beauty area :) . Please explain
Secondly pipeline has the lowest operational costs. In road transport fuel ki waja se costs are high

source of income for the local businesses.. Meaning by that more people come to the city --> more econ activity --> resulting in increased incomes for local businesses. and forgoing is OPPORTUNITY COST. I'm confused it external costs can be positive?

i think the external costs qtn came in the eco paper yesterday . DId u give olevel eco

No costs arent postive they are external benefits.
actually in such qtns he always mentions two thing..in this qtn it was airport and natural beauty area..since it is the next best alt forgone..so going for one will devoid them of the benefits that would have been derived by going for the other :)
and wats ur logic in it..i mean in market one

External costs are the costs which affects the society due to a business decision OTHER than the business operating/running it.
So NATURAL BEAUTY is the right answer.

@Shahnam.. Our logic is that:
First of all... what is commerce ? It is a trade of goods in simple words. If we can trade goods easily, we dont have to be self-sufficient means we dont have to produce all the goods which are required by us. So if we get these goods, we can make those goods which are specialist in, this is our comparative advantage. So, it helps to promote specialization. This is why we chose that option ! Whats your logic boy ?

And it was PIPELINE for sure, not ROAD.

my logic is based on the definition of commerce. for what I've studied Commerce provides "aids to trade" while trading itself is part of production together with commerce. So, definitely trade increases specialization but commerce would be providing the ancillary activities which may include promotion and marketing. Therefore, commerce would help to find the market for the products.
And I'm not sure about this road and pipeline wala question so no comments on that.
