I was wondering...do we have to learn all the imams? or just Hassan and Hussain?
Similarly do we have to learn all the wives? :/

Learning about all the Imams is not very important. Since it has never been asked to write on Imams other than Hassan and Hussain. So do learn the names of all Imams and read the others but you should know about the life of the two mentioned above.
And yes you should learn about all the wives, you can't skip them.

Damn...learning all the wives? my teacher says only to learn Khadija,Sawdah,Aisha,Maria, Hafsa and Umm-e-Salamah :/

Umm I don't know. But Hazrat Zainab bint-e-Jahsh is also important. Allah Himself solemnised their marriage through the verses of Quran. And I think it has been asked before. Just to be on the safe side, you should know the facts.

Learn names of all Imams. Learn details only for Imam Hassan, Imam Hussain, Imam Mehdi. Learn basic facts about all wives bt focus more on those which have been asked previously till 2013.
I have already given Islamiat. So, a tip from my side to learn aout such personalities is that first read it as a story. Like remember any well-known/important incedent related to that particular figure and then elaborate it in exam. Like you can find incidents on how Prophet (SAW) married his wives and in what circumstances. or along with that any special event like slander affair in case of Hazrat Aisha (RA) or sacrifices of Hazrat Khadija (RA) for Prophet (SAW) and Islam.
