COMPILATION OF HADIS (OCT/NOV 1999)
The companions of prophet were fond of collecting the sayings, actions and silent approval of prophet. In the beginning, quran was being revealed and the prophet prevented his companions from writing down the hadith but later, he allowed them when he became confident that they would be able to distinguish b/w hadis and qur’an.
Prophet himself is reported to hav instructed his companions to record his hadis. ”may allah be pleased with a servant who heard athing from me and then broadcasted it just as he heard it
is this a good start
