Computer (7010) paper

Hey, I am studying biology at school and they dont offer bio + computer together. But I want to really give Computer Studies paper in a year, so I have brought books and studying theory paper.

But the problem is about PRACTICAL paper, I read it in syllabus that it is school-based assessment so that means I cannot give computer private ?

And plz tell me about the practical - what to design ? if it is software then I have learned basic software programming and can make a good software.

You can give both papers in one session and I know of one user in this forum who did and achieved A*s in both of them. I just don't recommend it because there's a lot of work involved in the project and coupled with the amount of work you have to do in Biology it isn't going to be easy.

If you really want it, then perhaps you can forgo the project, give Computer privately (IF you aren't allowed to take it through school) and opt for Paper 3 instead of the project. They basically ask questions related to the project in that, it's short and relatively simple from what I've heard.

You basically computerize a manual system. Suppose you have a library where the librarian records a track of users taking books in his register. You would make that happen in a database instead. You can use any language you want to code the project in, VB, C, C++, C#, Python, Delphi, etc. are all acceptable.

C++ won't help u in Project i.e Paper 2!
I m sorry if you want to appear privately than you have to give Computer Studies ATP.

The project mainly requires us to computerize a manual system. The software/programming language you use to create the system doesn't really matter, people will just choose whichever one(s) they are comfortable with or the ones their teacher assists them in. Judging from the documentation that you posted, your project doesn't seem to be significantly different from the ones students normally make.
