can anyone tell me what is explanation system in expert system.

and can anyone tell how is simulation in training pilots and trying out equipment in space

Expert System:
The Expert in particular field design these system so that the knowledge of a professional can be transferred into the computer thus giving computer the knowledge to deal with particular problems!
E.g: When a patient arrives at the hospital, Computer may examine the patient and deduce the treatment to be given by the help of expert system

Simulation:
An artifical environment created by the help of Computer system in which reality is shown. These simulations help users to demostrate different experiments and perform such acts which are very dangerous or impossible in reality. Pilots are trained this way because its safe to give a pilot the traning of situation he/she is going to face when flying a real aircraft and so that if any problem occurs, the pilot may already know how to tackle with it, without any problem!

only one point ?? for simulation i want one or two more dude how could i answer a 3 marks question if i know only one point...and i kw what a expert system is but what is the explanation system(its major component)
