Concerning french as a foreign language

i am writing, because i want to know about french as a foreign language..
is it that hard, because i'm not the professional in french nor a fluent speaker.
My question is if i took it as a subject will it be hard??

Also, would I need to take any courses to freshen up before starting? and does the british council offer any courses? If not, anyone know where a good place to do a quicky french course in Egypt to freshen up?

French as Foreign Lang is not that hard. It depends on how good your teacher is actually. I find it really though.
