well i have equate the two equation first to get the first value and then equate the first expression=-(the second equation)

I hadn't ever done 2 modulus equations previously. I actually drew the graphs of both functions in order to know how many possible solutions there were (just to be sure). Then I solved in order to obtain 2 values.
