can someone please help me in how to solve these questions?? specially the iterative formula ones!!

thanks bro but how do get the first value of X ? like from where?For diffrential equations just separate the x and y,and then integrate both sides.
For iteration,you just have to make x the subject of the formula

Plug in values from 1 into the equation,then at x=3 you get a negatvie value and then at x =4 you get a positive value,so this means the root lies between 3 and 4
