Differential Equations Maths P3 HELP!!

can someone please help me in how to solve these questions?? specially the iterative formula ones!!

first of all,, iterative formula is different than differential equation, post any specific year question and possibly me or any one can help u

For diffrential equations just separate the x and y,and then integrate both sides.
For iteration,you just have to make x the subject of the formula

Remember that when there is a change of sign,the root lies inbetween.
Plug in values from 1 into the equation,then at x=3 you get a negatvie value and then at x =4 you get a positive value,so this means the root lies between 3 and 4
