Does anyone know how to solve ln x = -2?

I thought natural logs under zero were undefined, but this came up in a past paper question. Or at least, it's one of the steps you have to work through.

Assalamoalaikum wr wb!

You're right...logs under zero are undefined ;) but that - 2 isnt in the place of x ;) log of a negative number is undefined...yet u may surely get log of something as negative ;)

take ln to the other side...u get
x = exp(-2)
= 0.135
