English 8693 - Results - CIE seems to have become a little too strict?

Despite doing well in my 3 main subjects, English came as a shocker to me. I was wondering if I was alone or are there more like me who haven't achieved anything close to what they had targeted for in English.

Has CIE changed its marking techniques?

seriously....i got gud marks in all except english...actually failed...i doubt the checking technique...

I got E expected atleast a C..thou i dont think CIE have changed marking technique a couple of friends of mine ( all girls ) got A safe to say girls are better in english than boys plus i dont think i knew the pattern of answering the questions wth thou got 4 a's mashAllah
