Make sure you are elaborate enough while writing about the structural aspects that you identified. For example when you comment on the writer's vocabulary use or a particular expression make sure you describe in depth the effect or mood it creates. Don't just try to comment on everything at once, rather be organized and focused, pick the few devices you think are more important and then work on them. The examiner won't expect you to analyze the details of the entire text in the given time frame but expects you to understand in depth the purpose of whatever aspect of the text you are commenting on. More often than not the single line at the start of the question gives you a pretty good idea of what you should be looking for in your analysis. Lastly, read between the lines and avoid red-herrings.
