English Specimen p2 Query

Hey guyz I just wanted to ask that why the old specimen paper is of no use ?? and veryone is advising to use the xtra specimen paper... so wat is the difference btw the two ?? Plz clarify...

Practice both the specimen paper 2 2011 and extra specimen paper 2 2011 from here: http://www.cie.org.uk/qualifications/ac ... def_id=907
There's no difference. Both are just for practice, to get you acquainted with the new paper pattern.

But I heard somebody say that the marking scheme of the old specimen is of no use?? no truth in it ?

These specimen papers and their mark schemes are correct. Both are for 2011. What 'old specimen' are you talking about?

No I don't know why people said the previous one is useless. Both are good in preparing for the new format

They must be referring to the 2009 one. Both for 2011 are fine.

I heard progressive english 2010 also has like practise for the new english summary pattern.
I did both specimen papers and revised vocabulary sections from 2004-2010 and completed comprehensions
What else should I do? Any ideas... does anyone know of an uploaded version of Progressive english 2010

@Rafae: I have progressive english 10 but the new format is not described in that :O
And yeahh dude that much prep is enufff...Seriously i have done just 1 comprehension uptil now and checked it with marking scheme... Really helped me so u shud try cheking ur ans frm ms too... Good luck!
