English/ tips needed

Okay so I am going to be appearing for Gce english along with sciences and math in the coming exams.
But i'm not going to school or any instructor so If anyone of you can give me tips on how to study on my own I would be delighted. And if you could provide me with help with online notes i'd appreciate it.
