Cambridge English revision guide will be the best source for this. Btw its nt about the story itself. What matters most is the way you arrange watever ideas you can think of (which are relevant). Descriptive requires so many techniques, alliteration, onomatopoeia, pun, oxymoron, irony, personification. Apart from this majority of those who get A's go for the narrative. So, i recommend that.
