no i dont cram quotes. for the importance of being earnest i read with a silly british accent in the most supercilious manner, especially for lady bracknell this way im able to relate to the characters and most of the time, the most memorable parts of the text stick.
For the passage based you need to have a general idea of the plays and i guess more knowledge on the relationships, themes, characters, etc
