Aodhubillahi min as-shaytanir-rajeem.
Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Raheem.
Al-Hamdulillahi Rabbil-'Alameen.
Allahumma Salle 'ala Sayyidina Muhammadinin-Nabiyyil-Ummiyi wa Aalihi wa Barik wa Sallim. Allahumma Salle 'ala Sayyidina Muhammadin, Kullama Zakarahuz-Zakiroona wa Kullama Ghafala 'An Zikrihil-Ghafiloon.

This is something to consider, for all of us. Evident Signs from Allah that we can see even today, and take a lesson from.

This is how the enemies of Allah ended up; despite all the power and men, and wealth and children, and (material) intelligence/knowledge they had;

And [with] Thamūd, who carved out the rocks in the valley? [Qur'an 89:9]

Thamud, today, thousands of years later:

So when Our command came, We saved Salih ('Alayhis-Salatu was-Salaam) and those who believed with him, by mercy from Us, and [saved them] from the disgrace of that day. Indeed, it is your Lord who is the Powerful, the Exalted in Might.
And the shriek seized those who had wronged, and they became within their homes [corpses] fallen prone.
As if they had never prospered therein. Unquestionably, Thamūd denied their Lord; then, away with Thamūd. [Qur'an 11:66-68]

Astagfirullahal-Azeem; Al-Ladhi la ilaha illa Huwal-Hayyul-Qayyum, wa 'Atubu 'Ilayh.

And this is how the Friends of Allah are recompensed by the Most Merciful, the Especially Merciful;

And [mention] when Abraham was raising the foundations of the House and [with him] Ishmael, [saying], "Our Lord, accept [this] from us. Indeed You are the Hearing, the Knowing. [Qur'an 2:127]

The 'House', today, 4000 years later:

And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations:
"Peace upon Abraham!"
Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good.
Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. [Qur'an 37:108-113]

Allahumma Salle 'ala Sayyidina Muhammadiw-wa 'ala Aali Sayyidina Muhammadin, kama Sallaita 'ala Sayyidina Ibrahima wa 'ala Aali Sayyidina Ibrahima, Innaka Hamidum-Majid. Allahumma Barik 'ala Sayyidina Muhammadiw-wa 'ala Aali Sayyidina Muhammadin, kama Barakta 'ala Sayyidina Ibrahima wa 'ala Aali Sayyidina Ibrahima, Innaka Hamidum-Majid. Allahumma Sallim 'ala Sayyidina Muhammadiw-wa 'ala Aali Sayyidina Muhammadin, kama Sallamta 'ala Sayyidina Ibrahima wa 'ala Aali Sayyidina Ibrahima, Innaka Hamidum-Majid.

As-Salaamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullah.

The intention behind my post was to make us realize, that whether on the national level in the case of Thamud, or on a personal level, whoever desires only this world will get it - Thamud was in its time like America is today, a superpower. But the end result is what can be seen in the picture above; its not nice, its frightening, and this was what became of them in this world. What awaits in the Hereafter is eternal torment.

Astaghfirullahal-Azeem, Alladhi la ilaha illa Huwal-Hayyul-Qayyum wa 'atubu 'ilayh - I seek the forgiveness of Allah the Tremendous, other than Whom there is no god, the Living, the Self-Sustaining, and I repent to Him.

And as can be seen by the example of Sayyidina Ibrahim ('Alayhis-Salatu was-Salaam), whosoever desires acceptance from Allah, and His love, and the Aakhirah, will insha' Allah be honored in both worlds.

Illa ma sha' Allah, the world appears to be heading straight towards the greatest fitna in history - Al-Masih Ad-Dajjal; the Antichrist.

To best ways to protect and increase one's Imaan during these troublesome times are that we do not under any circumstance, neglect our Five Daily Salat, and we pray them with proper concentration. And further, set time aside in our routine to do the following, at least once on week; on the mother of Days, Friday.

Recite Surah Kahaf on Friday; at least the first and last ten verses. If you can recite it all, its best. And memorize the first ten verses at least (preferably the last ten as well), and implement on them. And recite Durood Sharif/Salawat/Prayers/Blessings upon the Prophet (Sall-Allahu 'Alayhi wa Sallam) abundantly on the night of Friday (Thursday night, the night comes before the day in the Islamic lunar calender) and during the Day.

The Best of All Creation, the Messenger of Allah, the Honest and Trustworthy, Sall-Allahu 'Alayhi wa Sallam, taught us: If anyone learns by heart the first ten verses of the Surah al-Kahf, he will be protected from the Dajjal. [Sahih Muslim: Book #004, Hadith #1766]

From Abu Sa`id (Allah be pleased with him), "Whoever recites Surat al-Kahf on Friday, light shall shine forth for him between the two Fridays." [Hakim, Bayhaqi, Ibn Hajar, Talkhis al-Habir]

Rasulullah (Allah bless him & give him peace) said: "Of all the days, Friday is the most virtuous. It is on this day that the trumpet will be blown. Send abundant durood upon me on Fridays because they are presented to me on that day. " The Sahabah radiallahu anhum asked: "O Rasulullah! How will they be presented to you when even your bones will not be present after your death?" Rasulullah (Allah bless him & give him peace) replied: "Allah Ta'ala has made the earth haraam upon the prophets forever . " [Abu Dawud]

Allah’s Messenger, Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: “Send many prayers upon me in the radiant night and the bright day, for verily your prayers are shown to me.” [Tabrani] (The radiant night is Thursday night - the eve of Friday - and Friday)

May Allah preserve our Imaan, increase it, and guide us from the darknesses into the light and save us from His wrath and necessitate for us His mercy; and His mercy is ever near to the Ummah of Sayyidina Muhammad (Sall-Allahu 'Alayhi wa Sallam). Ameen.

Allahumma Salle 'ala Sayyidina Muhammadinin-Nabiyyil-Ummiyi wa Aalihi wa Barik wa Sallim.
