Your possible grades in A2 by calculating grades from AS by thresholds.... this is wht i cud understand otherwise Allah knows better 
I will explain this with help of May June 2012 and 2013 thresholds ie if u gave AS in 2012 n A2 in 2013 :
If you have an A in AS 2012 the minimum mark for A was 90 so in A2 according to thresholds A* is usually on 190+or- 10 so if u have an A then for an A* u need 110 marks which is approx 85 in ppr4 and 25 in ppr 5 which is difficult but not impossible if u study n ask for the Almighty's help
Calculating As marks bcoz the above 90 for an A is the minimum mark for A required but u cud have got more: if for example u have ur component grades as ppr1 A ppr 2 B n ppr 3 A then (keeping in mind 2012 gt)

Adding up these 24+49+30=103 meaning 13 marks more than 90(minimum mark for A) so for A* the next year approx 100 marks required which makes A2 easy but then again we calculated AS from the component marks from minimum so with a positive thinking u cudve scored more on each ppr ur A2 A* bcumin even easier.
So use this method and ur AS grades and get an approximate value for the marks u must score on ur ppr4 and ppr5 to get ur required A2 grade and study hard keeping it in mind when u know ur minimum marks requirement for A2 it gives u an encouragement to study more and better towards your goal.
So now many of the xpc members will aim for an even better grade becoz its not impossible as it seems as everyone scares you that A* is beyond imagination whereas its right here in ur hands becoz Allah helps those who help themselves, those who never loose hope say Bismillah and try harder ull surely receive good results.
اللَّهُمَّ لاَ سَهْلاً إِلّاَ مَا جَعَلّتَهٌ سَهْلاً وَأَنّتَ تَجّعَلَ الحَزَنَ إِذَا شِئتَ سَهْلاً
Allâhumma lâ sahla illâ mâ ja‘altahu sahlâ wa anta taj‘alu al-hazana idhâ shi’ta sahlâ.
Oh Allah! Nothing is easy except what You have made easy. If You wish, You can make the difficult easy.
This dua is a miracle im telling this based upon my personal experience during an exam if u r unable to answer a question or any problem repeatedly read this dua and miraculously u get the answer.
