I've heard from a friend that for example in biology AS you can lose +10 marks for adjustments which he tried to explain that they deduct marks to make all the variants equal in curve? Is that true? And can this get me from an A to B?
Thanks.

Yes, it is true
They adjust all marks except Maths,
Any yeah, u can lose an A, but u can also gain an A...It's like this, if u are doing the harder variant of all three, then marks are added for u, to make it equivalent to other variants...but if you are doing the easier of all three, marks are deducted to make it equivalent to the others
Hope you understood:)
