Forecast grades to C.I.E??

Assalamualaikum.
Does any one know wat is the reason of individual schools sending forecast grades to the C.I.E? Does it make any difference or am I misunderstanding. If so plz lemme know..

the forecast grades are incase your paper gets misplaced by the cie...so they put ur forecast grades on ur result

I was forecasted 1 D and 1 C ( didnt submit any homework and failed my mocks due to lack of interest ) and got 2 A*'s so I wouldn't worry about it.

They let you know on results day, if it has been misplaced. There's alot more they take into consideration then just forecast grades.

Yes the papers can get misplaced but this jst happened once when the plane which was taking cie papers crashed So after tht they introduced forecast grades !
