Hi, this is my first time posting here so feel free to inform me if I'm doing anything wrong. And yes, I am aware that CIE further maths is a topic frequently discussed on the board but I would like to direct attention specifically to this one book: Further Pure Mathematics by Gaulter & Gaulter. The one with the picture of cones on the cover.
A little bit of background: I'm planning to self study CIE further maths, so I've been going around getting some materials. I'm already aware that there is no single book that covers all the topics in the syllabus.
However, I've checked the syllabus and it says that the book by Gaulter is the only one suggested or recommended for further pure. I've also been trying to cross check the topics in the book with the topics in the syllabus and everything seems to check out thus far, however everyone keeps telling me that there are certain topics not covered in the book and the book covers some topics not in the syllabus.
So the question is, for those who are experienced with using the book,
Which topics of the syllabus does the book cover sufficiently and which topics does it cover inadequately?
