Why are the grade boundaries announced in the papers really low ( 60% for A in history), but then in reality, its much higher?

Yeah. I have the same Q. For IGCSE A* (chem) u should get 91% and above but in xtreme papers they say only 80 something and above??

Hmm
Where are you guys getting this value? Starbucks; you said that you should get 91%+ for A* but where does it say these?
I've looked at grade thresholds and the A* isn't very hard to achieve (except add. maths. Eeek 92% D:!)
But honestly, whether or not you know grade threshold how is that going to change things? Instead of wasting time focusing on grade threshold, go study. Nothing you do will change the value needed for an A* so instead of asking about grade threshold you should be trying to raise YOUR number
