When do the grade boundaries get determined for IGCSEs? Is it possible for the grade boundaries for Maths Paper 2 and ICT practicals to have been determined yet? Or do we have to wait for a certain date? Because I want to know, keeping in mind how well I did in my exams, I did and what grades I should expect. The reason I only ask for maths paper 2 and ICT practicals is because they were the very first exams I did so I was just wondering. Thanks.

P.S. How do grade boundaries work? For example. If I get an A in Paper 2 maths and another A in Paper 4 maths, is my overall grade going to be an A* or just an A?
Thanks.

Nahh! I don't think the grade thresholds would have been determined yet. When the CIE gets the papers from all over the world, they take out an average and set the grade thresholds.

Paper 2's weightage is just 35% whereas Paper 4's weightage is 65%. So, if you get a very high A in paper 4 and a low A in paper 2, you can still get an A*. And if a low A in paper 4 & a high A in paper 2, then there are chances of youu getting an A* or an A depending on the threshold.
