Here's an example for Accounting:

"The maximum total mark for this syllabus is 340 for A Level and 170 for AS Level."
Why is the total marks for AS Level 170?
Paper 1 (30) + Paper 2 (90) = 120 marks.
Wheres the other 50 come from?
Anyone please clear this up for me or am i looking it wrong?
