I got an A at 85 percentile in AS level History Paper 3 (May/June 2013) , so do i stand a chance for an A* when i give my A levels because the threshold says atleast a 67 for an A, whereas i got only a 65.

85 you're saying for only one paper? What about the overall %? If you got an overall A in the AS level history , you can manage to get an A in A levels too
