grade thresholds

i took the physics,chemistry and maths as level tests under cie
my question is on grade thresholds -
is it necessary to get A according to the grade threshold in each component of a subject in order to get A overall?
or for physics suppose u can get A -by doing awesome in paper 2 and paper 1 and missing A in paper 3 by some marks(lets say 5)?

i really need an answer - please somebody help

ya 100 percent sure u ll get A.....IF U GET A in two components and a B or C ON UPPER BOUNDARY in paper 3.....
