Grade?

Firstly i want to ask that how the Cambridge calculate the grade? e.g Mathematics has 2 papers..
Will they will be calculating grades for individual papers...or they will add up the marks and then calculate the grade...
Secondly, if someone has A* in Maths P1..and A in Maths P2..will it be an A* as a whole..

Umm each subject has different ways of calculating the total mark. For example math you find 70% of paper 4 and 30% of paper 2 and add them.
