1. As far as student's comfortability with the subject is concerned, both subjects Computer Science and Biology have difficulty level equally same.
2. Computer Studies has Syllabus code 7010 which is going to be replaced with Computer Science, syllabus code 2210 from 2015 onwards.
3. Both subjects Biology and Computer Science are optional so you have either choice.

Can You Tell Me What Is Pre-Release Material And It's Purpose?

Stidents receive the pre-release materials in advance of the examination. This includes a scenario and a number of specific tasks that need to be addressed in relation to this scenario. Students are required to consider each of the tasks and create a computer program using a procedural high-level programming language such as Visual Basic, Python or Pascal/Delphi, that will provide a solution to these tasks. Teachers are expected to give support to their students in finding methods and reaching solutions. You will be given questions in CIE examination paper from the scenario of prereleased material.
