I gave the example of Ijma in another thread
Example of Qiyas and Hadis is:
-Prophet used to beat the drunk with lashes.
-But Hazrat Umar asked Hazrat Ali about fixed number of lashes as it would be cheating to beat someone less than another
-Hazrat Ali did Qiyas
-He said that when a person is drunk, he does many sins including Blaspheming.
-The punishment of blaspheming is 80 lashes
-So the punishment for drunk was set as 80 lashes by the Qiyas(Analogy) of Hazrat Ali

Can you elaborate on Ijma and HAZRAT ABU BAKRS CASE?

-Hazrat Abu Bakr used to consult Quran whenever a legal case came before Him.
-If it was not clear in it then he would refer to Hadis
-If he couldnt find it in His memory then He would ask His companions
-Once Hazrat Umar(I wrote Abu Bakr in previous answer) was asked to decide who was to blame when a Pregnant woman was attacked by abother woman and then gave -birth to a dead child
-The caliph asked the companions to relate any Hadis that might guide Him
-Hazrat Mughaira remembered one that referred to a similiar case
-Hazrat Umar asked Him to bring a witness to support Him
-When Hazrat Mughaira did as told, Caliph decided the case according to that hadis

-Hadis:"Whosoever buys an edible Item cannot sell it until he has taken ownership thereof"
-It was Khabir-e-Wahid(one sanad) so raised doubts about its ruling
-Ijma was done
-Its ruling was then confirmed
