Something worth knowing before you dive into Tick Drop eliminations, because it might save you some frustration: not every version is a fair fight, and that's kind of the point.

Quick background if you're new: it's a Scratch "Add Yourself" style elimination format. A bunch of characters stand on stage, a turn counter works its way through the lineup, and whoever gets caught at the end of the sequence drops out. Repeat until one is left. Most versions run on their own, so you're mostly cheering for a favourite rather than controlling anyone.

Now the fun part. Several remixes have a protected character built in:
- Maddie Is The Strongest starts with 63 contestants and Maddie can't be eliminated.
- Maddie's 84-Player Crossover has a bigger cast but Maddie still wins.
- Spiffy Is The Strongest has 100 contestants and Spiffy survives and wins.
- THX Logo Is Immortal (113 contestants) — exactly what the title says.
- THX vs. Vineria is the interesting one: 118 contestants, both title characters are protected, and the final is between them, so either can win.

The elimination order can still vary in these, so they're fun to watch for the reactions, but don't expect your random pick to take the crown.

If you want an actual open result, go for something like the 63 Players or 80 Players remixes instead. Fun fact, Maddie Is The Strongest and 63 Players share the same lineup size but play out completely differently.

Anyway, if you want to compare them yourself, this tick drop game collection lists every version with its roster and special rules, all playable in the browser.

Good to know before watching! It's wild how some of these Scratch elimination projects are totally rigged for specific characters like Maddie or the THX logo. Definitely sticking to the open ones!
