Help about my AS results

Hi, I just want to ask about my AS result. My result for mathematics is 'a' (ASL) 88, i just want to know whether it is normal my "a" is written in small letter and what 88 stands for?

I am not creating this thread for showing off, i am just very worried about my result that's all

Yes the lower case "a" is normal and is the same for everybody doing AS Level. The number given I believe is the uniform percentage mark.

AS Results are printed in small while A2 are written in Capital.
