This is the same prblm for me..!! but..till now..i guess i have learned something...which m gonna share this..may help u...

for QN1...as MS says..
- Find out the independent variable...and ...u have to set different 5 of it...!! (if its concentration, make 5 different concns..) and give the way how u will make it..
- Find out dependent variable....method of measuring it..
-control variable- state two and say how u will do it..
-Safety....
-realiable... by repeating the experiment and calculating the mean..... this is for the 8 marks one..and then..it has some tail question..u have to solve accordingly..

For QN2...Look at the statistics in the book itself..and mary jones.....and practice some of them....!!

like..
When Chi squared test is used..and when t test is used...and...u should know to write null and alternative hypothesis....and then..finally...calculating the t test or chi squared value, comparing it to the table...and stating whether there is significant difference..or that occured just by chance...!!

and..for QN1....look at these types of experiement..like...
A. Counting the number of stomata
B. Calculating the rate of transpiration(potometer)
C. Electrophoresis
D. immobilised enzymes
E. Respirometer..... and these kinds of..!!
