Help for IELTS exam!

My query is that as I will be giving my IELTS soon!The dates are out for the entire year of 2013.so I have done my A levels from CIE and now as i will be planning to go to london to Kingston University after 2 years in India hence I need ur suggestion as when should I give this exam and is it that this degree holds validity upto only 2 years...But the institute from where I will be doing the course says its a must to give in this July Or August 2013.So the minimum requirement is to get a band of 7.0 in ielts exam for this university for the BBA honours programme that I wish to do!So please guid me as to how to prepare and should i keep a tutor?or just read out the books that they provide>???which books and the name of the best selling books and authors which really helps!also will I be able to preapare within a month time?please reply to my queries to the earliest!

Also one very important confusion!Whats the difference between GA AND A!!I know the basic things as i googled out!But as i want an admission for an undegraduate course for BBA?So will GA work?any risk in the visa later??

dud calm down!! ur overreacting... ielts is easy dont take tension 1 month is plenty of time...i scored 7 in my ielts with only 6 days of preparation and that too balancing my time between AS and ielts...ive done academic but i dont have much knowledge..i suggst u search ielts on wikipedia and get info.thats how i got the needed info...and therrs no need for books...its a basic english testing system..you can practice some ielts practice tests online....u need to get accustomed to their format thats all....good luck bro
