I was reading the syllabus, it says sources of hydrogen are hydrocarbons or steam!how do we get it from steam?? :shock:

Catalytic Reaction ,
CH4 + H2O---> CO+ 3H2 , and carbon monoxide reacts with more steam , giving out more Hydrogen , CO + H2O ---> CO2 + H2 , an overall would be the equation Adham wrote.
