I'm assuming from part (b) of Hadith and Surah you're talking about :

Surah (b) How is this theme important in the lives of Muslims today?
Hadith (b) How can Muslims put these teachings to use?

Here's an example : This is part (b) of Surah Kausar
Answer :This surah helps build a sense of confidence in Muslims that Allah is Most Merciful and Kind, and He shall help them in tough times and those who do wrong and oppose him are creating for themselves a burning pit of fire for Allah shall bring them to account for their sins and wrong-doing. Hence, we must be obedient towards Allah and do everything for His sake as He will be the one to reward us for it. The Quran says,'Say : Truly my prayer and my service of sacrifice, my life and my death are for Allah, the Cherisher of the worlds' (6 :162)

Example 2 : Hadith
Hadith : 'None of you believes until he wants for his brother what he wants for himself.'
Answer :The life and teachings of the Holy Prophet are a complete guide for us. This hadith teaches us the importance of brotherhood in Islam. It emphasizes upon co-operation and kind attitude towards our muslim brothers. For attaining the true state of faith, it is essential that a man should be free from selfishness. Hence, a Muslim must not think ill of others and he should desire for them the conditions and circumstances that he desires for himself. Prophet (pbuh) has also said 'Desire for others what you desire for yourself and do not desire for other what you do not desire for yourself'.

Hope this helped. :)
