Q) In the background of the society of Makkah and Medinah, suggest some important features of the surahs revealed in these two places

I dont fully understand the question but i guess it is asking about makkan and madinian surahs

so for makkan surahs they were revealed between 610 and 622 in makkah.These were also those revelaed during makkan period regardless of place like taif,mina e.t.c These surahs are in poetic form as was the culture and tradition of makkan people who took great pride in their poetic skills .some surahs are highly rhyming like kawsar and al-takweer.These surahs generally mention the fundamentals of islam like Allah in himself,Articles of faith e.t.c and also to the consolation of Prophet in wake of hostilities in makkah.Story of adam and ablis and eve is found in makkan surahs

Madinian surahs were those revelaed during madinian period that was 622 to 632 regardless of place..They were generally prose style long surahs like 2,5,9 and they talk about the matters of the muslim state that emerged in madina and also talk about the laws of communal and indivudal life like laws of inheritance,laws of marriage,divorce e.t.c and also about the relation of muslim community with others
