I'll be giving Commerce as a private candidate this May/June and wanted to know, which book is the best for preparation of this subject?
Considering there are many books that alot of people use.

Also, do those who have given this subject in O-Levels previously or are giving it this year, know of any good tuitions for it in Lahore, Pakistan?

Any help will be much appreciated!

Believe me you donot need any tuition for commerce.
When I joined the academy more than a week late (the same academy in which Dr.Ifthikar taught). What the teacher did was pathetic. Very little teaching, he dictated us the whole book word by word. I didnt even complete the month. Only did two maybe three MCQ papers and hardly one theory (that too at home) and got an A.

There are two main books.
One is blue I think. Thin one.
Other is a Thick Black one.
You just read these two book in 2-3 weeks and do some latest past papers you will easily get an A*.

If you still want tutions go ahead there was this one good teacher in our school Rizwan I think (not sure). Lot of good and famous teachers have changed academies recently so I cant tell you the names of institutions.

Thank you very much for responding, actually I wasn't in favour of taking tuitions for Commerce because being a Business Student, its one and the same thing for me; easily comprehendable.
But many students that I came across, who gave Commerce last October/November stated that a tuition is necessary.

Your reply was of much help, thanks alot again.

Can you please tell the names of the authors of the two books you mentioned?

I was in a frenzy situation when I gave the exam in May/June. I wanted to skip the last "TOPIC", but when I started solving past papers, I realised I had to read the last topic. So i just skimmed through the last topic, but thoroughly revised the previous topics. So i guess, skimming would be a better option than skipping, as there are no optional questions in the MCQs
