About the dotted thing:
If it only says LessThan/GreaterThan, then use the dotted lines
If it says LessThan or Equals to/GreaterThan or equals to, Then draw whole line(no dots)

P.S When there's written "Equals(less or greater)" use Non-Dotted

what about more than...for e.g. draw a Locus of a point "more than" four meters from B so the radius of the circle drawn will be dotted...right?

Hey this a different concept..............there is nothing like using dotted lines........................and let me tell you in construction do no use dotted line........The dotted lines are meant for inequalities only.................the one with symbols.......................................................................................

I have trouble in LOCI
plz clear about the the locus....when should the locus drawn be dotted and when not...??
ASSALAM WALIKUM
there r two simple steps u have 2 remeber in loci
if it says about only two points for eg: A & B then u will have 2 draw a perpendicular bisector
and if it says for eg: between BA and BC then B is common so u will have to draw an angle bisector from B
if u hav further questions pls feel free to ask and INSHALLAH i will answer it as far as i can!

plx show with workings !

1-(2/5)-(1/4)=x
lets take LCM for full working
its 20
20/20 - 8/20 - 5/20= x
x= 20-13/20
x=7/20
hope u got it!

thanks ppl
btw if anyone could explain line of symmetry and the rotational symmetry ?

ALSALAM WALIKUM

its very easy Abdullah..
firstly lets consider this object : +
the number of times it will appera the same when it rotated is 4 ie, the order of rotaional summetry is 4
consider the same object and the number of times u cut it and same half's appear at both places is line of symmetry u can draw 4 lines of symmetry

HOPE I HELPED GIVE ME A QUESTION IF U DIDNT UNDERSTAND
