HEY GUYS I am going to AS level of edexcel ofcourse

Hey guys!!!......How are ya?...........after reading my thread title u would have presumed what I am gonna ask about......possibly i mean........anyways since i am going to medical field so i have to do a lot of subjects.........................I have to take c1,c2,c3,c4,m1 and S1.In AS I have to complete 10 papers......did u hear only in AS!!!!!..........so i am deciding to finish c1 and c2 as quick and as efficient as possible..............and give the paper on january 2012, so that would lessen my burden in june 2012. I am not completing c1 c2 just to lessen my burden.............BUT ALSO WANT TO GET A GRADE IN THEM
THEREFORE I WANNA GET SOME ADVICES FROM YOU GUYS REGARDING C1 AND C2.

Btw, why are you giving edexcel? Why don't you go for CIE??

for that you have to appear for only two papers in AS(P1 and S1) and two in A2 (M1 and P3)!

Anyways the syllabus is more or less the same! The P1 syllabus is same as the C1 and C2 combined! The difference is C1 is a non calculator paper while in P1 you can use a calculator!

The topics are almost the same! But for edexcel of course you'll have to give 2 papers 75 marks, which is equivalent to CIE one paper 75 marks!

Hi Shahla,
This is quite effective way to do good:
Study like this,
Do past paper after every topic you revise so that the concepts remain in your head. When doing papers note down all the mistakes you make on a piece of paper.
You are appearing for C1 and C2 in jan so give more time to them.
Listen attentively to what your teachers say.
When you return home, revise all the work you did that day in school.

PS. The above ways apply to every other subject.

Hello,
C1 and C2 are papers that you can really get good at if you solved the pastpapers and solomon papers.solomon papers will make you get at least 90 UMS in each.

ASSALAM ALYKUM can you plz let me know where are you applying for ur medical coz i m bit confused in pakistan students going for medical are not required to study maths. so are you applying somewhere els if yes plz provide me with some info so that it adds to my knowledge so that i can guide my students better.

no dude its not that...............I am doing maths for security wise..............cz u dont know what will happen in the future............u dont have any control...........what if i dropped mathematics and what if in the future the colleges asked my maths certificate .............then???...............So its a bit risky to decide whether to drop physics or maths.............its better to do both of them............so that u are in the safe side.
