Hey there i need to know the threshold of pakistan studies

I know that nobody knows the threshold but can u just assume?

What i know is that threshold means a starting point of experience .
just use all the resources available for the paper.
Use the syllabus,mark scheme and examiner report available on this website.
And use the books for both the subjects.For history startt from section 1 and cover up all the points till section three as said in the syllabus.
for geography use the syllabus and cover all the topics in it.
There was nothing difficult and there will be nothing difficult.

Ya for Pakistan Studies the threshold is around 75-81 for A and 82 - 89% for A*.
Well u shud keep in mind that that cambridge is not very lenient in marks giving(many peaple thinks that).It becoz of their Grading System,these threshold are very low and in the end many pupils get As

Thanks saud and scouserific, but saud have you given me the thresholds of cie pakistan studies or edexcel pakistan studies? I want the threshold of cie pakistan studies by the way.
Moreover saud are these the grade thresholds of 2010 and are you really sure about this? because i have heard that above 80% is A and above 90% is A* and this pattern is followed in all the other countries, who follow the cambridge system.

Thanks there but these are for IBCC students. I mean Saud said that from 75-81% is an A and 82-89 % is an A*. This is what i don't understand. Generlly 90 above is A* and 80 above is an A.

Well u asked for threshold,these are minimum original marks required to get a certain grade..
For example ,
Examiner had checked Pakistan Studies papers of all candinates and given u 75%
Now they will apply their grading system(percentile,standard deviation etc)
They now fixed threshold eg 75% to get A in PAK Std.
Now as u got 75% (minimum requirement for A),ur 75 would be changed 80
U scored an A
