how can i prepare for my english exam ?? ergent!!!

how can i prepare wen ive gt only 7 days left!!!
ive been givn all my attention on physics bio and chem. and mths and totally forgot about english!!

plz give me advice!

How about practicing a few recent comprehension papers? I know the pattern has changed but the comprehensions are about the same difficulty so it might be a good idea to solve those (especially the specimen paper for 2011 if you haven't done that already). Attempt a few compositions too and make sure you're able to write them within the time limit. You should read the book entitled 'Cambridge O-level revision guide' (or something like that, I don't remember), it's very useful and contains many tips.

Also, don't bother with descriptive essays unless you really think you can describe whatever really well. From what I have read in the examiner reports, many students seem to be weak in descriptive and argumentative essays but do well in stories, so maybe you should consider writing a story in the paper. Spend a few minutes before you pick a topic and make sure you know what to write in advance, otherwise you might be heading for disaster in the middle of your composition (I have done this myself many times and I ended up with really sucky compositions ).

i know im really weak in argumentative bt nt bad in descriptive.
im thinking of doing an essay instead of story.
so if i do comprehension and essay 1 everyday
can i have a chance of A grade in exmas?

P.S (i gt a B+ in my mock exams 70%)

If you think you can write a good essay instead of a story, then go ahead. If you're better at it, then it's a much better idea. Also yes, 1 comprehension and 1 essay a day would be fine, although I suggest you attempt a bit more 1-3 days prior to the paper. 70+ in the mock exam is a good enough result, just work a bit more harder and you'll get an A in the CIE, InshAllah.

only 7 days :| enjoy, chill and watch tv. well what you can do at the end is mentioned by lesco and yeah avoid grammatical and punctuation mistakes in the paper if u want an A.
