Solving the past papers, especially the new ones, not earlier than 2007 because the pattern has changed ever since. I would recommend you to take one of the latest papers and solve and cross check your answers with the marking scheme and then read the examiners report (not available for M/J 2010 yet) as well, as it would help a lot. Other than that you have to be aware of the few things like significant figures, finding uncertainties in different situations and plotting graphs, making error bars in them, making a line of best fit, a line of worst acceptable fit, and working confidently with logs( math knowledge) and making an equation in the general form of a straight line as y=mx+c, hence finding the values by relative substitutions from the graph and consequent workings.
Thats all, isnt it simple?! :p
